Just when I think I have this city figured out, Johnstown reminds me that truth can be stranger

than fiction.

The emerging energy of Johnstown is that of a dandelion growing out of a crack in the

pavement. An unlikely new life, rooting through obstacles that don’t exist in other circumstances.

Yet this is where we have found ourselves, for one long story of a reason or another. We

will persist regardless of absurdity. Indeed, perhaps just to prove something; to the world or

ourselves, it doesn’t matter.

These are the stories of Second Chance City: Johnstown, Pa.

Hi, I’m Amber Dawn.

I’m a transplant from a little city outside of Pittsburgh that’s almost exactly like this

(Ambridge, Pa if you're wondering). I’m a writer, artist, PR wrangler for Craftwork Studio, and idk

like a wizard or a shaman or something.
